Why make presets?
In a saturated marketplace, you might wonder why I ever set out to make presets in the first place. The truth is, I didn’t.
I made presets for myself, to fit my vision for my work because I felt like I just couldn’t find what I was looking for. I wanted painterly tones, rich color palettes, dramatic contrasts that didn’t compromise on a full value scale, and complex skin.
I was aching to reflect the color theory I learned in art school in my photography and blend my worlds of digital and paint. SO I made a set for myself, carefully and slowly; spending months up at night working with master paintings up on one half of my screen and LR scales on the other, painstakingly matching colorways.
When I was done, I knew I had to share them with others who were like me; a painter in their heart, in their dreams, in their visions.

Last year,
I was in my third year as a professional photographer. I was feeling overworked and was definitely underpaid; (when I sat down with my accountant mid-year, we discovered that I was earning less than minimum wage). I confided to Keziah that I was thinking of closing up shop and moving on to another career. After several meetings regarding my current business practices, marketing, branding, pricing, and sales, my business made a complete 180 degree turnaround. Though the work was difficult, and I had to rethink how I was running my business, I am now confident in my art, my pricing, my product, and myself. My income for the first quarter of the year was five times what it was last year. I feel confident during product sales meetings, and I have beautiful samples to share with clients.
