Snow Mini's | Denver Family Lifestyle Photography

Denver family snow photography

I am from western NY so it goes without saying that I adore the snow; I don't mind driving in it, i love standing in the middle of howling winds and snowflakes and I *really* love photographing in it.

I was so excited to do snow mini's on Sunday and Monday of last week with some of my baby planners to get those magic snowy moments captured!

It's kind of hard to believe how many images you can get in 10-12 minutes. We work SUPER fast because we don't want babies to get to cold!!

Of course, I made a few of my son as well, because I started to get jealous of all the wintery gorgeousness other mommies were getting.

20 minutes with Love | Denver Lifestyle Family Photography

In late November, I got together with this awesome threesome to do a quick mini session to grab new images for their christmas cards. I adore this family; theya re fun, joyful and full of love for each other, it sures makes for a fun session for me!

My year one plan families get to add on mini sessions any time they want in their year. This means we can capture little milestones without a big fuss or lots of planning. 20-25 minutes and we are DONE.

I've starting making sure we take a minute to grab an image of the love between parents. It's all part of the legacy we are leaving our children.

It's so cool to have a mini session for a couple of reasons:

1. I get to check in and see how the kids are growing and celebrate all the milestones and new tricks with you guys ( and baby gets to know me even better)

2. It's so fast, it's basically painless. Dad can't complain, baby has a ball and we're done before you even know what happened.

3. You have images that capture baby's growth throughout the year instead of just a newborna nd one year set!

Twins and a 3 year old... what fun!

This awesome family won their mini session with me from a facebook promo I did in January!! I was SUPER excited when they won because I have worked with them once before and they were adorable AND in the meantime they went and had TWINS!!!

Their mini was in their home and just as soon as I arrived, little Avery was busy showing me every room in the house and carefully explaining the purposes of said rooms to me!  It was so cute and I was impressed with how much he's matured since the last time I saw him.  It's so cool to be able to watch children grow through my lens and see them develop into such interesting humans.

The twins were absolutely precious ( although rather exhausted since we planned a sunset shoot) and so we moved just as fast as we could to grab shots of everyone.

Logan gave up the fight against sleep somewhere along the way and while we all love seeing awake babies, you can't deny the absolute preciousness of a sleeping baby.

Little Harper was very curious and a little unsure of what exactly I was up to; what a doll!!!
